ABOUT US

Bastion Saucery officially began in 2021, but we’ve been making hot sauce from our garden for a good long while. We make (very) small batch hot sauces that are focused on flavour, using a wide variety of peppers and products that are locally sourced from the interior region of British Columbia. We grow many of our own peppers, especially super-hots like Red Ghost Scorpion, Caramel Moruga Scorpion, and Reaper. The bulk of our sauces are made with medium level peppers like Habanero, Fatali, Scotch Bonnet and Cayenne. We use the super-hots to kick the heat-level up a bit, without burning you out.

2021 was a great gardening year, and we made a total of 12 sauces for 2022. Be sure to vote for your favourite, as we learned the hard way that for our little operation 12 is unsustainable, and plan to do larger runs of fewer sauces for 2023.
